THE ART BUS
After 7 years serving Sonoma County, The Imagine Bus returns to Marin and San Francisco Counties to continue its wonderful work of bringing art experiences to low income children who, otherwise, might not have these opportunities - a vision created by our founder Susan Little.
The Art Bus visited over 50 sites and thousands of children throughout the Santa Rosa area. After having the Bus live in her driveway these past years, The Imagine Bus Project North program director Jane Lang was sad, indeed, to drive the Bus one last time down to Marin.
A special heart filled thank you goes out to Jane Lang, former Director of The Imagine Bus Project North, and the Art Bus, as she who inspired so many children in Sonoma during her many years of running the show! She will be missed.
The Art Bus helps fill the need for arts for children who have little or no access. Professional artists provide age appropriate curriculum for art projects and the materials and supplies necessary to create them.
